DENVER INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT (DIA)

Seeing it since 1995, when it was completed, a gleaming structure of Glass, Aluminium & Stainless Steel, with canopies to match the snow covered peaks of Rocky mountains in its background, still gleams like new. An awesome sight-both inside and from outside.It is gateway to picturesque Colorado & in particular to the City of Boulder-host to CU at Boulder—a city you dont want to leave for its beauty.

DEDICATED TO SENIOR CITIZENS

I just took the picture, Allisson Coxsey wrote the poem:
SUNSET OF LIFE
“In the sunset of life,
The shadows are dim;
The years orchestrated,
By life’s fickle whims.

Where once there was brightness,
A life filled with light;
It drifts toward the sky,
On shadows of night.

The sweetness of youth,
Is a memory now;
Yet holds all the sweetness,
My heart will allow.

For memories fade,
And ‘tho time slips like sand;
My time is dictated,
By God’s simple plan.

In the sunset of life,
I have found joy and peace;
I shall celebrate life,
‘Till my sunset has ceased.”

SMILE A WHILE

Bob, an industrial engineer, gave a lecture on ergonomics to a group of factory workers.  After covering all the finer points of maximizing efficiency in repetitive tasks, he concluded his lecture with a note of caution. “Don’t try these techniques at home.”

“Why not?” asked somebody from the audience.

“I watched my wife’s routine at breakfast for years,” the engineer explained. “She made lots of trips between the fridge, stove, table and cabinets, often carrying a single item at a time. One day I told her, “You’re wasting too much time. Why don’t you try carrying several things at once?”

“Did it save time?” the guy in the audience asked.

ACTUALLY YES

“Actually, yes,” replied the expert. “It used to take her 20 minutes to make breakfast. Now I do it in ten.”
