The high light of this month is an exhibition of Claude Monnet’s original paintings displayed by Denver Arts Museum. I got to see more than 100 originals and photograph them too.

DENVER MUSEUM OF ARTS
organised a display of Monet’s originals and my Son had lost no time in buying tickets 3 months in advance.Gave me once in a lifetime chance not only to see the masterpieces in original, but photograph every one of them (>100), also. A couple of pictures reproduced here.

They established co relation between famine and soil moisture and concluded 1943 soil moisture did not correspond to a draught It was probably a scarcity created by the ruler to starve the population.

Who said that?-Earl Warren-Chief Justice of US Supreme Court from 1953 to 1969. In India, the Law Enforcers are perceived as the Most Lawless. Rape Law & Harijan Act are believed to be used to “frame, lame & tame” & therefore Warren’s saying becomes most relevant.
A person hung cannot be “unhung”.
(Earl Warren was a renowned jurist whose judgments had transformed American Law. Some of us might remember that he was the one who headed the Warren Commission that inquired into JFK’s assassination).

SMILE A WHILE
Reaching the end of a job interview, the HR manager asked the young engineer fresh out of university, “And what starting salary were you looking for?”
The engineer said, “In the neighborhood of $100,000 a year, depending on the benefits package.”
The HR Manager said, “Well, what would you say to a package of $200,000 a year, 5 weeks of vacation, 14 paid holidays, full medical and dental, company matching retirement fund to 50% of salary and a company car leased every 2 years – say, a Mercedes?”
The engineer sat up straight and said, “Wow!!! Are you joking?”
And the HR Manager said, “Of course…but you started it.”
